Lincolnshire Landscapes

Lincoln's Market Square with a dusting of winter snow

Lincolnshire's unique landscape looks it's best in winter. Without a covering of foliage, the rolling forms of The Wolds and the wide expanses of the Fenlands reveal themselves against towering skies. Towns and cities have a cosy air as midwinter approaches, with Lincoln's famous Christmas Market kicking off the festive season in Castle Square (above).

Now is a marvellous time to get out and about. You'll often find you have the wide vistas and bracing beaches to yourself. So whatever the time of year, enjoy Lincolnshire's landscapes. Trust me, you'll love it.
