THIS is how the prize money will be dished out in season 2006 - 2007.

CHAMPION: £400 plus trophies
Runner-up: £100
Third: £50
Fourth: £40
Fifth: £30
Sixth: £25

FA CUP WINNER: £100 plus trophies.

The bottom four will be awarded wooden spoons.

That leaves £170 to cover a £5 weekly bonus prize for 34 weeks of the season (just about most of it excluding first three weeks as league is being built, blank Premiership weekends because of England games and a couple I’ll miss out here and there).

Olly Maxey gets his £25 entry fee paid by the league as winner of the Originals Championship last year. That will be running again this year (for newcomers, all will be explained later).

The residue is £85 set aside to cover trophies, spoons, engraving and a bit towards the expenses I incur running the league.
